The Gullhúfan Hat was designed by Maja Siska for Hörpugull to showcase the beautiful colour variations of our hand-dyed Icelandic yarn.
This knitting project is simple, playful and creative. By knitting the hat with two strands of yarn held together, the colours blend beautifully and create soft transitions in every project.
In this special edition kit, the colours are inspired by the blue tones of Icelandic glaciers — from deep icy blues to lighter shades reminiscent of glacier ice and winter skies.
Included in the knitting kit
• 65 g of single-ply Þingborg lopi (unspun Icelandic wool yarn)
• Hand-dyed yarn in glacier blue tones
• Detailed knitting pattern (Icelandic / English) in a digital form. You won't get a product sent to you, instead you will get an Email with the pattern in a PDF.

Inspired by Icelandic glaciers
