Refund & Return Policy

At Hörpugull, every skein is hand-dyed in small batches in Iceland with great care and attention to quality. If something isn’t quite right with your order, we’re always happy to help.

Returns

We accept returns within 30 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unused

  • In their original condition

  • With all labels and packaging intact

Yarn that has been wound into balls/cakes, used, or altered in any way cannot be returned.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or we made an error.

Non-returnable items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Yarn that has been wound or used

  • Digital patterns or downloadable products

  • Kits that have been opened

  • Sale or discounted items (unless faulty or incorrectly delivered)

  • Gift cards

Damaged or incorrect items

If your order arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery, including photos and your order number.

We will send a replacement or issue a full refund at no additional cost.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange for a different colour or product, we recommend placing a new order and returning the original item.

Your replacement will be shipped as soon as the returned item has arrived back with us.

This ensures you receive your new yarn as quickly as possible.
